Convenient Location

Woodland Forrest neighborhood is conveniently located less than 15 minutes from the campus of The University of Alabama. It is also a convenient location for commuters to Mercedes-Benz (10-15 minutes), Birmingham (45-50 minutes), and the Birmingham-Shuttlesworth Airport (50-55 minutes).

Tall Pines Golf Club

Tall Pines Golf Club is an independently operated 18-hole public golf course that runs throughout the Woodland Forrest neighborhood. Club memberships are available at a variety of levels. The club includes a clubhouse and pool (membership required).

Woodland Forrest Elementary School

Woodland Forrest Elementary School is situated within the neighborhood. It is one of three schools in Alabama to receive a Green Ribbon Award for reducing environmental impact, promoting health, and ensuring a high-quality environmental and outdoor education.
